Does it bother anyone else that he said that there were some guys playing hard. What about the rest of them? He better say something about piss poor quarterback play and that there could have easily been 4 interceptions in this game and two of them wound up being touchdowns for us.

That is the issue with hiring an inexperienced head coach for a team that needed a big rebuilding project. Maybe a green head coach can tread water while learning on the fly at a stable, good program but it is almost impossibly hard for a first time head coach to grow into their role while also needing to drastically improve the team in the meantime.

There is a lot to criticize but I saw a lot of emotion from him. In the first game, I think this criticism was justified. He was extremely animated from what I saw all game. This doesn't mean he's doing a good job or coaching well but what you are saying doesn't come from someone who was watching him.
