I disagree. He an,d his coaches know a lot of football. The coaches don’t throw into double and triple coverage when they have a wide open on the other side of the field. They don’t fall down when try to cover a receiver , drop a pass that is in their hands, leave the mingle wide open, run to the wrong hole, let receivers run past them, make a mistake not not hustle to try to make up for it etc. They hav,e to play with what they have and do not have the depth to sit players when they screw up. They did take J G out and, while they seemed to perk up a bit, the inexperience showed up. They still are not falling forward on offense or driving players back on defense. Florida started7-8 Jr. and Srs. on offense and about the same on defense.
I was pleased to see him playing more Freshmen and second year players. This will help, especially with an open week next weekend . There is a reason when preseason predictions by the media were what they were. We as Tennessee fans try to disbelieve the truth because we are fans and want a championship team every year and think/hope things can turnaround in one or two seasons. We don’t have the players with experience and our head coach is in his second year as a a HC. Magic seldom happen in the SEC because we want it to happen. We need to realize where we are and what it takes to get where we want yo be.
