Pruitt on Tennessee: "I've never seen a place that looks like this"

Peyton worship makes me wanna punch myself in the jewels. You’d think the guy won us 4 titles. Dobbs was how many yards from beating Peyton’s pass yards? It wasn’t far and this was while playing behind the worst O line in football for years. Give it up.

Moron, the delta stands @ approx. 4000 yds.
God I love this place.
Peyton represents among the greatest of all time @ UT and perhaps NFL (Dobbs career at UT and thus far in NFL, is so different, not even comparable).
Peyton will be around this program for many years to come , regardless of who the head coach is.

CJP's statement alone is why NO coach should ever have a reason for not being successful here ! We have superior facilities and amenities to reach the top echelon of the SEC. Period!

i kind of agree with this. ^^ when gump was going thru what we have been going thru there was a joke about what do an alabama fan and a maggot have in common. The answer is that they can live for a long time on a dead bear.
fyp

I think what coach has learned on his journey here will help he has worked with 3 future Hall of fame coaches he is a winner and he will have Fulmer for advice who is a hall of fame coach

I have never been to our facilities, but I saw a special on SEC network one time about it. I have two coworkers- 1 bama, 1 clemson. Both claim their facilities are the best in the country, and say its why they get so many recruits. Honestly, without any bias, how do ours stack up against theirs?

Unless a school goes completely nuts like Oregon I don’t really see any one difference you could make.

It’s like a car you’ll have unique touches here and there but they’re all pretty much the same.

We have wood whereas Texas has Stainless lockers
By now all top colleges have iPod, iPhone, Etc hookups
Texas added TVs to display players others go traditional.
Amoung other things.

well thank Mr. Haslam and the other big donors

You can thank Haslam if you want, not me, I’ll only thank the other top donors who haven’t done everything they can to run the program in a very deep ditch for the last 10-12 years.

The stat that matters is the TD's. TD's equate to points, which equate to a higher win percentage or chance of winning. You can throw for 20,000 yards, but if you only have 40 TD's running or passing, you probably didn't win that much. So, it doesn't matter if you run or throw for a TD, as long as you make the TD. Peyton's 89 to Josh's 87 on a far less superior team I might add. I doesn't matter if you're one dimensional (Peyton) or Multi-dimensional (Josh), the goal is to cross the goalline. Both did the best they could to win for this University. YOu want to raise a good debate, look at the yards from scrimmage for both.

Another fact that is overlooked is that Peyton's stats were for 45 games. Josh only had 37 games under his belt. That is a Delta also when making a stat comparison between the two. Peyton rushed for a -171 yards, but had an additional 12 TD's rushing giving him 101 career TD's.
