Pruitt on Banks at linebacker: 'I think he could play this week.'

I like it. The young man is very athletic and very motivated. He just needs some direction. And telling him to, “Go ruin the ball carrier’s life. Get there fast and be in a bad mood when you arrive” might just be the key.

This all day long. Chit got me pumped ready to go tackle this bish in line at 7-11.

He will need to control his emotion. Be hard to pull up, go from 100 to 0, I can see him getting a late hit.

Did he play any LB in high school? If so, his learning curve may not be too steep.

We sure could use another Al Wilson type at that position
Most RB in college played line backer as well in high school. So it wouldn't surprise if he did play.

True, but the water boy would have been flagged for targeting.

Yeah. Never would have broke the NCAA sack record for a game.

A late hit or 2 can be overlooked if that's not your only plays. Targeting is a different animal.

At this point, just line him up and tell him to attack the ball. Young man has guts, heart, and want to.

But, what if -- on his first defensive drive -- he causes a fumble on the 1, picks it up, runs 94 yards and fumbles it on the 5, giving the opposing team the ball right back. Then what ?? THEN what position will he play ??
