Now this is getting somewhere...anytime hubbs or price says something it usually has legs

isn’t this how it’s unofficially start on every coach previous too? I seem to remember don’t believe anything unless hubs talks.

Was it a business trip or personal. Does Peyton have a seat at the table, if not he should!

He has a big voice in things. He's universally respected and his stamp of approval is highly sought after regarding football hires.

Four years ago Florida, Texas A & M and Tennessee fired their head coaches, paying millions to exchange staffs out, Florida is currently number 7 playing in the SEC championship game, A & M is number 5, both are locks for a significant bowl should they elect to go, Tennessee is irrelevant in the SEC, regressing not improving, average margin of loss in a conference only season was 20 points, led by a burned out football coach turned wanna be AD who destroyed his own coaching career by being lazy and inept, might do the same thing to the program as a whole and what is left of his "legacy" at Tennessee

I wonder, when was the last time Manning was there and saw us win?
Peyton was at the game for several wins in the Butch era.

Don't remember him being at any Pruitt wins, off the top of my head. But he probably was.

And few folks here wanted Mullen. Whoops.

We were getting Mullen until Chip Kelly screwed us and picked UCLA. What could have been.

I don’t think we were ever getting Mullen. We offered same money as Florida i believe. We were only getting Mullen if we gave him an 8 or 9 million dollar deal and told him he has 5 hours to make a decision. We had to offer him something he couldn’t refuse and where he couldn’t wait for UF to make a decision.

You missed my point. We would have gotten Mullen if Kelly had taken the UF job, thus making it unavailable.
