I'm not looking for a reason to be pissed. He just has no right saying what he said. I guess I'm just tired of coaches like Dooley and Butch. Today was his first red flag.

I believe it was actually about all non HC that own Natty rings and a fan base that wants the best for the program and maybe , just maybe a few that are a tad bit overly sensitive .

Cool, if he sucks as a coach two or 3 years from now...and still bumping his lips like he is nick saban...we will see how many people care about those rings he got as a dc.

So back to the original question...how many saban assistants are now considered top teir head coaches? How many are even considered good coaches?

At the end of the day if he wins he will be great. If he wins great he will be loved. The way it has been done the last 10 years has had a team that ain’t lived up to what we want which is a dominant team. So I’m up for a coach that is a muschamp/smart In Ur face defense coach.

Give it 2 years and see where we are at.

It's just as much our responsibility as fans to show support to a new staff as it is for coaches to show they are here to win and provide results to the fans who pay their checks.

You can gripe and moan all you like, but we as fans failed the University of Tennessee today. There was no reason the stands shouldn't have been packed and fans being turned away.

You say you love the Big Orange....where were you? You say your blood runs Orange, where were you? You say you are die hard fans where were you?

This was free, our coach asked us to be there, our players needed us, and we failed them,similar to the players giving up on plays as CJP alluded to, and yet you weak minded- participation trophy imbeciles complain that the coach of our team didn't sugar coat anything and told the truth.

Maybe you are the one struggling. My problem was not that I felt the comment was aimed at people like me. It's the fact that he thought it was ok when we had 3rd ranked attendance in the country. Now return your nose to your business. I don't think my comment was addressing you so feel free to go "straighten" some one else out.

Oh, I actually agree.
We've had a kid or 2 mention our fan base lately, always nice to leave that kind of impression. We're behind on recent wins, so facilities or support Etc, any little bit helps a tiny bit.
"Lit" I think the kids call it. :)

I'm mainly just laughing at the exaggeration. Anybody familiar with their previous posts knows there's a pattern with most of them.
But like you said, even they will get over it if we start winning. If not, we know what happens.

Over sensitive or just have nothing else to talk about since it became pretty to everyone including d4h and nationdom that we are going to suck pretty real bad this year.....but hey atleast our coach can wear nc rings with fsu and fulgy a's on them for us to drool over, right?

Back to the orginal question, how many saban assistants are considered top tier coaches or even good coaches?

If he doesn’t produce like he was hired to do then I’m right there with you on kneecapping him . It’s his job and there are results expected . To answer your question as vaguely as you have mine I’ll say .. there one top their coach and he’s here at Tennessee a top tier program , am I right ?

I answered your question straight out...fulmer is the nc winning coach. Cutt is not.

Pruitt has proven nothing as a head coach. Kirby is good and flirting with top teir. No other saban assist is even considered good.

This sentence is definitely a paradox. Since when is Spring game attendance really that serious?

Speaking of not sugar coating anything, that's what I'm doing and a few others. When Pruitt does it he is "speaking the truth", when we do it we are "griping and moaning". LOL!

He needs to shut up and coach his team and win football games. That's what he was hired to do. Not whine about how many fans were at a spring game. (And maybe learning when to use "weren't" and "wasn't" wouldn't hurt, either, while we're on the subject.)

I love all the drive by’s in this thread from snowflakes who haven’t even the read the quote in its full context. Pruitt is the man, and he will not setttle for complacency or mediocrity. Our team needs this mentality drilled into their skulls to undo all the sh** the intern did while here.

In all honesty, it was a beautiful day in Tennessee and there were plenty of things to do other than attend a UT scrimmage game. Not to ruffle any feathers, but put something good on the field and more people will attend. We were crushed by Vandy last year Coach Pruitt- earn our respect.

As stated, fans are the last ones around this program that should be or get to be called out. They're essentially the only ones that have done their job for the program in recent years.
