Well it's mainly just a handful of people who were offended who are still *****ing.
And me, f'ck'ng with them because they're so easily offended![]()
Yeah Pruitt, take a look at those numbers. The fans buying the tickets that pays your largely undeserved salary are really lame, huh. Dude, you are not getting off on the right foot here.
I don't even think they're really offended. Check the post histories, they've been complaining the whole time, this is just an excuse.
"If you don't have the numbers, then just whine more"

All of that in the past doesn't change the fact that there were two teams with higher attendance and they are where we want to be, it's very simple, want to be the best, act like it.I haven't complained any about Pruitt. Seems like we are getting back on track.
I just don't think he needed to remind our fan base about support. The one who Oregon fans said showed up the most. The one who routinely sells out their allotment to away games. The one who nearly sold out 102k to LSU for an interim coach. The one who redirected a coaching search. We don't need to be reminded about a spring game, especially when the crowd was different than the last 20 years.

Sorry, wasn't even thinking about you.
2 of the 4 that have complained the most are habitual contrarian blowhards and the other 2 have been butthurt over the way "Jones was treated" for WAY too long.
If this is true then Pruitt can absolutely suck it! To be top 3 in the SEC in attendance and top 5 nationally after coming off the worst season in program history and a complete clown show of a coaching search, I'm damn proud of our turnout today! Honestly Pruitt, get a clue!
Calling out fans who should have been there but werent. How do you misinterpret that? It was just a dumb thing to say for a coach that should count his lucky stars to even be here.
Charger, I enjoy your posts. I was just responding to it because someone else has taken affinity to my posts. I don't post much over in this forum but had some time to kill.
The ironic thing is that I am a positive fan. I like Pruitt as a coach. I wasn't offended- I just didn't think he needed to make that statement. You can see what kind of controversy it created. Our fans will show up, especially if you do your job. They have shown up when some coaches weren't doing their job. It's pretty simple.
Do both it and the weight-lifting part. Then, as the tie-breaker, you could have a hotdog eating competition. Best 2 out of 3.
Ref. statement on "people around Knoxville"....There's plenty enough people around Knoxville, don't have to drive far and not working, to have had a better crowd for a free event.
We want the players to work harder and "give their all" but many complain that it's too much effort to tailgate and hang out with some fellow fans for a few hours. A good list of recruits there today and wanted them to feel the environment.
But apparently it's justified because Butch went 4-8 last year.
