Pruitt needs 5 years

4. To send a message to our current coaches and any/ all future coaches.... we support all our coaches until proven otherwise over a fair amount of time.... if we don’t support our coaches then it will be that much harder to get great or even good coaches in the future....

5. Because our fans are being Totally unrealistic about this rebuild!!! We had the worst record in the entire History of TN football!! We were the WORST team in the entire SEC!! 0-8 in league play! Outside of the past 12 years, the biggest rebuild in the past 50 years was orchestrated by Coach Johnny Majors.. and his records his first 7 years.....
1977 - 4–7
1978 - 5–5–1
1979 - 7-5
1980 - 5-6
1981 - 8–4
1982 - 6–5–1
1983 - 9–3

Johnny didn’t hit 8 wins until his 5th year, and didn’t get 9 wins Until year 7....

In summary, I know it’s painful to watch us playing like this, but really if you look at the big picture, we need to give Pruitt at least 2 more years after this season....

However, all of his assistant coaches, including Friend and Chaney Need to be thoroughly assessed after the season, Bc the offense is horrendous lol...

The team is getting worse not better. I do not know what your ulterior motive is but it is not for the betterment of UTK football.

CORRECT! This is a lie created by coaches for the sake of coaches. Wouldn't you like to get a multimillion dollar a year job and no matter how poor your performance you can get that 5 years cause that's the rumor out there..it takes five years to know.

Heck of those early 15 losses 12 were by less than 10 points.....and 10 were by 5 points or less.

Lol some people want to keep bringing up Dabo.

If any of you think Tennessee has the next Dabo.....your seriously delusional.

There is always the exception here and there. For every one of those there are 100 examples that say if no improvement in year 3 then you picked the wrong guy. You know that.

He shouldn’t get another year with results like this. If I close my eyes, I can hear and smell.

Butch got 5 years even though the 1/2 yard FG in first Qtr vs OU told us what he was.

Pruitt will get 5 years even though getting embarrassed in Neyland by Kentucky tells us what he is.

This is not a typical year, he should know his team well enough to decide what changes need to be made.

Bituli is missed, the edge is missing Taylor. It took 6 games for the defense to lockdown and play about as good as a fan can ask for.

I got a bad feeling when I seen Couch at linebacker, I thought he did well as a short yardage powerback and I figured Pruitt had a guy lined up to replace Bituli.

Give him 5 years just stop signing unwarranted extensions. The problem is hiring 5 years and paying for 8. Want an extension make an Sec championship game, or beat 2 of the big 3

Whatever happened to neidemeyer? He has gone quiet on platforms recently, I haven’t heard a word from or about him. Losing steam on the recruiting front?

Crouch and Tot’oto are great at defending the run, but that’s all they know how to do.

Senior class was a Butch class. Junior year class is 2 months of Pruitt's. Sophmore and a Freshman class during a restricted fall camp. He needs more time.
