Pruitt losing the team....

I do not believe the schedule is softening. We still have to play 2 top 10 teams as well as Auburn and Arky on the road. The first 5 games should have been easier.

I'm not sold on TAMU as a top 10 team; I hope they can make it to our game undefeated. It would be a golden opportunity to salvage something of our season. With decent QB play, we should be evenly matched.

UF was caught napping and probably is a top 10 team.

He is already giving the guy close to 0 tape for NFL scouts then had the nerve to throw a horrible pass on 4th down smdh. Im suprised Johnson & Palmer havent slapped his face off yet.

When he didn't make the (impossible) catch, the cameras caught JG barking at him. At least in his direction. I had figured that Palmer was responding to JG's attitude.

Regardless, they are in fact a top 10 team. Tennessee got blown out by unranked UK. There's no way we beat TaMu.

Did you even read the article? Things got heated - ok, good. Shows they care. But then "Guarantano went back up to him and calmed things down. The two had a pretty long, measured conversation about the play." Nothing to see here.. especially not that "Pruitt is losing the team." Good grief.
I posted the article so yes I read the article. Players getting into it on the sidelines is a bad look and so what if they made up. Are you watching the games? You notice the players giving up? That is a sign of a coach losing his team. "Good Grief"

Orrr, maybe you have a player trying to assume a leadership role...... finally..
Because the 5th year starting QB can't? Of course that isn't on the coach either. smh

The players totally gave up against Kentucky because there was utterly no confidence that their QB wasn't going to turn the ball over and over and over and ruin all their hard effort.

That may just be LEADERSHIP showing up.

If it were me, I would tell JG: “If the coach keeps putting you out there, you better step up and start playing like a redshirt senior is supposed to play.”

I notice many of the same people who still believe JG is our "best chance to win" are also the ones that believe Pruitt has everything under control and knows exactly what he is doing. Everything is well on the hill. "Just needs time." "It will take 5=6 years." Blah blah blah

In the case of our "5th year starting QB" have you seen any signs, during his time here, of him exhibiting the ability to be a leader or 'the guy' that takes control of the offense?

And as far as the 'alpha' type personality needed for that ability, if you ain't got it by the time you get to college, very unlikely any coach is going to magically pull it out of you.

You are aware I was am saying if a 5th year QB can't be the leader he has no business on the field?

Actually no, since you phrased it in the form of a question. I assumed it was a question as opposed to the statement with the additional clarifiers you just responded with...

Edit: @1TheCoach1, I think I now understand what your intent was originally, Iguess the way it was worded confused me..

Also, sounds like we agree on JG.. 👍
