Pruitt liked how the team practiced this week

Pruitt has said it over and over you play like you practice. I believe that to be a true statement. Him saying we haven't got anywhere to go but up, is that we stink and all we can do is get better? Or is that we are finally getting it and our worst days are behind us? Kind of threw me off there.

Aren't you over analyzing just a little.? All he was saying was "up" (get better) is all there is for us to do.

Lets see both safeties for south Carolina are out? Pass the ball, pass the ball, use the pass to get them loosened up to run some. Pass to the rb out of the backfield on flares, pass the te in space and across the middle. Play to win and let it hang out and pass the ball downfield. I hope we don't come out and bomb aka Florida game.

Got this from RTI: Two grad transfer defensive backs, Nick Harvey and J.T. Ibe, won’t be playing on Saturday.

Edit: Evidently they are starting safeties. I should have had coffee and read the post I quoted a little better.

I agree, Helton can only call plays he's confident the skill set of the line can execute.

The way the OL gets violated, a screen pass seems natural. After we do that about 4-5 times, they will hesitate before going through the OL turnstyles.

Nice blustery fall day outside in upstate SC. Gonna be cooking out with the kids and my SC-alum nephew and his wife tonight, watching the Vols start a great run to a bowl game.

Correct. We can all see improvements in different areas, including our attitude and competitiveness. But let’s all remember, we’re still very much the worst team in the SEC. Nowhere to go but up indeed.

Well, KB there is Auburn. Were the worst team in the SEC, it remains to be seen if we're still there. That was then this is now.

Salute! That's the life. I'm sure you'll make sure your nephew knows the result was nothing personal, right? Hope you all enjoy it. I know I will.

Go Vols!

Ok not trying to be an a$$ so please don't take it that way. But I really dont get why people say this. We are so bad on the o-line right now I really believe that is the biggest reason for our struggles. It really does hamstring us.

Is the Offensive Coordinator not responsible for the Offensive Line?
