Pruitt: Jennings Capable Of Playing QB All The Time

Wait but what about all the posters who called me stupid for thinking Jennings should be our #2 behind Maurer? Saying he had not practiced at QB since high school anyone thinking he could start was stupid.
I was on this Lane Train.

The fact that at this point in his career he hasn't "done gooder" with his English probably indicates he's all about substance, not image.

We would not want visa-versa! (some will say we've been there/done that)

But that single-mindedness might limit his head coaching career to being a "program rebuilder." As winning brings more national exposure to the head coach, universities and fan bases will care increasingly about the image of their now-winning program.
Ah, I see the VNism there.....

I'm sure he also wants to put it in the opposing defense's mind that he might actually throw it from the Wildcat every once in awhile.
I actually enjoy sitting on the coach and not being able to call the plays ahead of time for a change.

And you think Pruitt is smart enough to do stuff outside football?

Are you really being serious ? If so just how arrogant are you.And what STUFF are you talking about ?

I never called you stupid but the premise that he SHOULD start at QB and run the wildcat isn’t vindicated by Pruitt saying he “probably could play QB all the time”. As is after the last game, you think he should play over Shrout? I don’t. He’s a good change up in the offense and an emergency option with two unhealthy QB’s.
Define wildcat because what I saw was a quarterback running the spread offence.

No that was shotgun trips right. No other QB on the field other than Jennings so it was not a wildcat formation.
No chance of it being a pass...so it was the Wildcat. A QB doesn’t have to be on the field to run it...that’s the point.

No, the Wildcat features an unbalanced offensive line and looks to the defense like a sweep behind zone blocking. A player moves across the formation prior to the snap. However, once this player crosses the position of the running back who will receive the snap, the play develops unlike the sweep.

You can do the wildcat out of any alignment. It’s the concept. Before we go back and forth on a topic neither one of us is going to budge on, are you going on record that JJ will go QB full time? Cuz we’ll disagree that our best WR is going to make that move.
