If we bring the same level of "effort" and "want to" to that game that we did GSU, we could easily lose that one too. If we get that level of performance every game the humiliation we are in for in the month of October will shock and awe even those of us who previously thought we could not be shocked anymore and there was no where to go but up. Georgia will not have to throw a pass to grind us into dirt. They averaged 8 yards a carry the other night as a team and if Saturday's team shows up we won't be playing with a third of the fire that Vandy did, it may be worse than the 41-0 debacle that made Butch a dead man walking. I don't even want to think about what Alabama will do to us in Tuscaloosa if this team rolls out there with the same attitude they had Saturday, it'll be obscene. I don't see how Pruitt survives that after this Georgia State loss also, year 2 or not.Maybe we can play Chattanooga 5 times? Not to insult the Mocs.
God love your heart! Thank you so much for pointing out my mistake. What a dummy I am for kinda forgetting about Auburn. I should hurry up start telling other people who think the same thing. Gosh, there are so many, I hope I can get to them all. If I can't, I am sure you will! You don’t really think that UT is Bammer’s biggest rival, do you?? Did you just kinda forget about the Iron Bowl??? UT’s biggest rival these days is the private school in Nashville.
You know Chattanooga is going to come in thinking they can win. You’re right - they will if we have a repeat of Saturday. If we bring the same level of "effort" and "want to" to that game that we did GSU, we could easily lose that one too. Get over yourselfI know the man is collecting millions, but this is a matter of personal pride. I don't care how much I was paid, I couldn't handle knowing that everyone in the world was laughing at me. However bad it hurts to be a Vol fan this week, that surely can't compare with how Pruitt must or should feel.
Jeff Braum. Oh wait he just lost at home to Nevada!I mean fulmer choosing Pruitt is about the most fulmer thing he could’ve possibly done. Go to our arch rival and take a guy that’s an assistant on that staff who’s never been a head coach. It’s a guy that absolutely could never say no as this could be the only chance he ever gets to be a head coach. His name hasn’t been mentioned a single time in connection to any other head coaching jobs. The convention wisdom would’ve been t go get an up and comer type coach that has proven himself to some extent already. No. Instead let’s go take a complete 100% unknown.
Also, I might add he chose a guy that’s a defensive coach when most of the great programs in college football today are offensive oriented.
