Curious. How many of the Georgia State players got a serious look from SEC recruiters? Second question: how many of the Georgia State players could make the U.T. roster?

Just stop. We had 10x the talent of Sunbelt State. We just didn’t have the drive or passion to even tee it up against them. Plus we started the wrong guy under center which is obvious now. Correct the mistakes play the best guys at each position regardless of seniority and we’ve got a chance. More of the same and the death spiral continues.

Nope. Sorry. Losing to Sunbelt State was an all time low for this program. I’ll take a win over BYU but unless major changes are made I’m not holding my breath. More of the same = more of the same results. Einstein’s theory of insanity.

Love you Sara but honestly what did you expect after that crapshow on Sat? It’s the Newtonian law of physics equal and opposite reaction thing.

I’m not justifying tweeting recruits bc I think that’s juvenile under any circumstances. But it’s not just that we suffered the worst loss in our program history it’s the WAY we lost. We just rolled over and took a beating from 2* guys w/o showing any fire emotion or leadership,

We’ve hit Rocky Bottom and I don’t blame Volfans one bit for being disgusted with the lack of accountability from our players or staff for this beatdown. I know I am. Says a lot about who we are and where we are and NONE of it is positive. Hard to believe we’ve sunk this low.

I have been a fan since 69. Watched football since my youth. Vols have had several tough losses but I am not sure I have ever seen a more pitiful effort by any team at anytime.
That effort gave a whole new definition to "dead men walking " it was quite unbelievable what I was watching.

I really hope Pruitt makes it but if he doesn't, I'm all in for Freeze. At this.point I wouldn't care if we ended up with a bowl ban for a few years as long as we are winning again. Hell, we aren't bowling now and suck during the regular season.

I'd take Art Briles over Freeze any day as long as we're looking for self-righteous sanctimony and hypocrisy in a coach. Freeze is right where he ought to be--at Falwell U.

You don’t really think that UT is Bammer’s biggest rival, do you?? Did you just kinda forget about the Iron Bowl??? UT’s biggest rival these days is the private school in Nashville.

Yeah Bama chalks us up as a win before the season. Their eyes is on LSU, Auburn and a&m then Georgia Same with Florida. Georgia is going to walk all over us for the foreseeable future. Vandy is our lowly rival and we can't even give them a game.

Vol fans need to make our judgements at the end of the season and not now. Pruitt has put together a good staff with a lot of experience. I don't think Tee Martin would come work for a joke of a coach. We could still fold or we could come back and be better than anyone expected from this. Let's wait and see.

This might sound crazy, but worst case is going 5-7 and keeping Pruitt another year. If we go 6-6 or better fine. But if we 5-7 or worse and keep Pruitt. There won’t be any Tennessee fans in Neyland in 2020.
