A first year coach taking over a bottom of the SEC program. Just showed all of us our coach in his third year isn’t the right guy for Tennessee.
Exactly. You don’t hear any of these excuses from winners. Winners win. It'a amazing to me how long UT fans will look through orange-colored glasses until the problem is painfully obvious. So many other schools have coaches perform well in their 1st and 2nd years. We've been hearing "youth", "somebody else's recruits", "doesn't fit his system", "not his players", etc. etc. Coaches are paid to win. P.E.R.I.O.D. If he ain't winning by the 3rd year (at the latest), he's not going too.
I agree, but I don't see UT letting him go this year/during the season. I hope I'm wrong, and they are looking and are talking about bringing someone in once the season is over. I should say it's not going to happen during the season.Good things won't happen for us. Change my mind.
We'll let someone hire Freeze, Stoops, and Meyer and we'll take Propst or someone we'll have to Google. Then listen to all the VN faithful tell us they trust his process and how his 3*recruits are good enough for him then "he's good enough for me"
