LOL. I've been guilty of exactly that. An F-14 pilot unknowingly turned his exhaust towards me as I stood on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. I was comfortable, daydreaming during a delay waiting to launch an aircraft assigned to me. My helmet was unstrapped as a sudden heat tornado knocked me off my feet from behind, I turned around to look and my helmet blew off my head as I grabbed to save it. I tumbled across the deck for a few seconds until the wind stopped. When I looked up, I could see others were trying to warn me, but I couldn't hear the guys because of the jet noise and I was not paying attention. Singed my eyebrows and burnt hair on my arms (trying to cover my head), but I was OK. Just a stupid lapse of attention on my part. Worst part was I had my trainees there watching, trying to warn me as I was not paying attention.Doubt there are very many that have spent much time on a sideline that haven't been trucked. You get a little too comfortable being near the action and the next thing you know, the pile finds you.
Him not having sense enough to get out of the way of his players doesn't make me feel great.
I don't even know exactly what happened, if anything. I'd just rather not hear he put himself in a position to get knocked down, run over, run into, whatever. Just how I feel about it.Pruitt isn't a cheerleader. Or an out of shape cameraman. He ain't even a Dooley who might break a hip waterskiing.
He's a tough guy coach akin to a Scott Frost where former players under him have remarked that his intensity level is such that it wouldnt surprise them if one day he suited up and went through drills with the team.
I have a feeling you are viewing him through a lens that might have been better suited for a coach named Lyle.
Dear God, please NO!!!!!
