CJP said today that he “probably made a mistake” punting with 1:50 left in first half instead of letting the clock run out and punting at 1:30.

It was a mistake but I like the fact that 1) cJP recognized clock mgt there and it was a mistake and 2) he’s big enough to admit it.

I’ll bet he learns from it too. Unlike the last two perfect coaches who never admitted to a mistake regardless how obvious it was.

Both- too many mistakes, butterflies, not enough men on the field and less talented.

A good leader critiques all aspects of his team. If there is improvement to be made any where you make it. The more I see of CJP the more I like him. I am beginning to see that we have a good coach.

Totally agree. We have the right coach, now he just needs to recruit the right players. I was disappointed in the way most of our upperclassmen played on Saturday. If they can't do better than they showed, I hope Pruitt goes with though movement and and gets as much experience as possible for our freshmen and sophomores.

Can't take many shots against cover 3 and QBs don't really run on RPO's

Again, totally unknown based on a sample size of 1 game. Anyone saying he’s a bad coach based off 1 game is an idiot. Likewise, anyone saying “he’s a good coach” after 1 very poorly played game is also off base. Everyone is hoping/guessing, either way. Because you hired a coach with zero head coaching experience, it is a complete unknown whether or not he can be a good head coach. Time will tell.
