I'm a Giants fan too, for about 50 years! I didn't like it either but it's probably a good fit. He does know defense and can break it down in an expert manner. No doubt the hilljack was far above his capabilities as a HC. He'll get a ton of laughs over his command of language skills

How much trouble did the Giants fans give Ray Perkins when he was Giants head coach from 1979-1982 i wonder? Ray was from Mississippi and had a prominent accent.

Not that much because of his southern drawl. Regardless, he knew proper usage and tense. It really wasn't an issue. It's not like he said, "we was ready to play", as Pruitt has said more than once in a presser

Thats a myth but now they've got good reason to be angry.

I've been based in NY for the last 18 years. Feb is my last month, and the only grander celebration I can think of is leaving Memphis for the last time when I sell my mom's house.

Probably the worst fit for a good ole boy and his family from Alabama. They’ll hate the fast pace lifestyle there. I give it 2 years max.
