I feel like this would have made a fantastic 80's comedy film.
I guess Jeremy is running from the eventual show cause, and it's probably a smart move.

Rocket, I'm in no way taking up for Jeremy Pruitt but if you think he's the fist coach in the Sec to pay players, I got a bridge for sale in Brooklyn. The NCAA has selective indignation about their rules. It depends on who you are and how much you feather their nest. It's wrong no matter who does it. The playing field should be level.
It’s his pathetic coaching and treatment of other employees that put the target on his back, not the paying of players. Paying just gave us the opportunity to fire him

It will be just our luck that in 10 years Pruitt coaches a team to a Super Bowl victory.

Guess it is more important to know someone than to actually be worth a s**t at your job in the coaching industry.

The 46-year-old Pruitt has no NFL experience, but there is a lot of familiarity in East Rutherford. As Art Stapleton alluded, Pruitt and Kevin Sherrer have a long history today, while he and Judge spent three years together at Alabama on Nick Saban’s staff.

An inside look at his interview with the Giants where he was asked what his "strengths" were:

Everyone does it my friend. I was just making a joke about the situation. If anything it shows his ineptitude that he was foolish enough to get caught. I agree it’s not right, but it happens at every major program, I get it for sure.
I figured you knew but my fear is with this portal thing happening, the big boys with the big bucks would separate from the rest of the teams. The NCAA doesn't usually cut you any slack for self reporting. NC told them to pound sand and got nothing for a fake class. Bottom line is it's wrong for everyone.

The coaching game is weird. It's one of the few professions where a person can do a terrible job, get fired and land another coaching job in no time.
