All the reports say Tyson Helton will be the OC.....they could certainly be wrong, but nothing says otherwise yet.

Do just the smallest amount of research before think about posting.

If you can't tell that there's a totally different feel to this coaching hire, than in past years, after Fulmer took over..... then this fan base would be better off with out the likes of you.

Man some of yall sound crazy,if Pruitt does what Kirby has at Georgia in that small time frame(Georgia roster was better I know),half you be wanting to build him a statue.I'm not saying he does or doesn't succeed but he's putting together sum nice peices and deserves a chance..Yall act like we hired The Waterboy.I mean the press conference was better than anything I've heard in 5 years lol nice start

You've also forgot that Tee turned us down. Pruitt hasn't.

Also what I've read. And that's not as bad as people are saying. He was basically Co-OC with Tee, he called 3rd downs while Tee called 1st and 2nd. If he can bring the things he learned from Tee and Clay, we should see much improved Offensive Play-calling.

and was he was OC at western kentucky under bhrom. they put up some great numbers. I like this hire.

No he was was not. Tee calls the plays. Ainge even confirmed with those at USC.

He has already been an oc though. He is a great hire. He has been under Brohm, Tee, and his brother.

Not to disagree with Ainge, but there have been conflicting reports. There have been journalists that have said Helton was the one that actually calls the plays. As usual the truth is probably more in the middle.

Wonder if he tried to get Tee or not. If your going for a USC coach to be OC it just seems like you would get Tee Martin

If this has been mentioned a million times already my mistake not trying to beat a dead horse

I could see him being a little pissed if he didn’t an offer esp since they went the coordinator route

Ainge is sticking up for his VFL teammate. Everyone in the business knows why Tee is not a good candidate and is not the primary play caller at USC and has never been anywhere. He was turned down by Georgia Southern and South Alabama. He had the chance under Butch to come back and raise his kids. He decided to stay in LA. The Helton guy is miles ahead of Tee.
