You have a hall of fame head coach in Les Miles who evidently would jump right in and Kevin Sumlin (one of the best offensive minds in the game and has won a lot) and you don't go those routes?

Pruitt has never been a head coach ever. Why would Fulmer make him one now?

Miles has age baggage.
Sumlin's ONLY real claim to fame is based on having Johnny Manziel for two years at TAMU. After that he's mediocre.

The guy was awesome at UGA. I always wondered why we didn't give him a look when we fired CMR. Then I found out that Kirby was the plan all along, and one of the reasons we fired CMR (to keep USCe from getting him). I think Pruitt would be a great hire for UT at this juncture.

Sunseri was a LB coach that DOOLEY hired as DC and tried to switch from a 4-3 to a 3-4

Lance Thompson was only a LB coach at UT.
