Buddy, I’ve been supporting this team for over 30 years. I’ve earned my fandom. Maybe you shouldn’t expect better than 30 point losses?

Maybe you should temper your expectations next time that way you won’t expect a 1st year HC to beat the #2 team in the country.

Offer who? Coach Pruitt? if thats who you mean then your logic is flawed friend. The same argument could be said for Kirby Smart 3 years ago despite him being the DC for Bama for...9 years? Pretty sure he's doing ok now.
Many reports that Smart interviewed for the Auburn job that eventually went to Gus. Let me clear my point up. Who, besides us, has ever had any interest in CJP being their head coach? Doesn’t that alone make you pause for concern?

So the 31 year mark is where you draw the line. Gotcha.

Look man, peace offering here....If you've truly supported this team for 30 years, which I'm not saying you haven't, then what other choice do we have than to trust that this is the right way to go and we can only go up from here? Everyone is disappointed that this is what it's come to but do you think being super negative publically is going to make anyone else feel better? or make you feel better for that matter? I'd imagine not. Just staying negative and pissy accomplishes nothing. If your son was out on that field today taking those hits or struggling because of Lyle's middle school coaching he ingrained into them over the last few years would you still rage the way you have been? I would hope not. That being said I hope we only go up from here and you cheer up my dude.

If I'm understanding you right, go look at the stats for the FL game. We beat them or stayed with them in every possible stat category. Minus those......6....turnovers...

Unfortunately, you can't go back and ignore turnovers wish we could but we can't pick and choose what we want to focus on.

I feel pretty good about the breaking down. Now if he's still crying 3 years from now...
. Not so much.

Not really considering every position he's ever been in he's succeeded mightily. As did Kirby Smart. Just because The GodFather noticed him first doesn't mean he is any less valuable. I understand where you're coming from but I just humbly disagree.

I could argue so did Butch. 19 wins in two seasons at Cinci, as the head man, feels like success to me. Of course, IMO, the fact either of these guys ended being our coach is a giant indictment on the administration at UT. That’s the real problem. We will suck until that is fixed .

Totally agree but that's arguably the only reason we lost. Just vaguely recalling but they had 21 points off turnovers i think? My biggest belief is that a lot of our players were taught absolutely craptastic habits and it's hard for any human being to retrain their philosophy and way of doing things in such a short period of time. Aside from Banks loose hands, almost all of our first year players have been doing very well considering. Ty Chandler,Dom Woods Anderson, etc. I'm sure there's a few more but I'm not going to sit and try to recall off the top of my head. Most of the shortcomings where it really matters have been from players trained by Lyle. Kongbo,Richmond, and a few others.
