Well, I'm all for second chances but if you continuously do dumb stuff it's on you to deal with the consequences. After 2 videos in a week of him acting like an idiot I have to say Pruitt made the right decision. I hate it for JB had high hopes for him but it is what it is, time to move on.
"I have made the decision to remove Jeremy Banks from our football program.
While I will continue to support Jeremy in the next steps in his life, information I recently received made it clear that this decision is in the best interest of the football program and the university."
Banks had his opportunities (1. Don't get yourself into a situation to have your license suspended 2. Don't continue to drive when your license is suspended 3. Make your court date regarding driving on said suspended license. 4. When stopped on the warrant charge, don't act like an idiot with the officers who according to media accounts, went out of their way to show respect and fair treatment to the perp.) to accept responsibility for his decisions on multiple occasions and has chosen not to. Whether the dismissal was directed by a CJP superior or not, IMO, it was the correct choice. Enough bad decisions have been made by individuals in leadership positions at UT in the past few years. I sincerely hope Dr. Plowman and CPF are doing what they can to reverse this trend with the goal that this athletic program will again be successful going forward.I approve of this. It’s an unpopular move, but the right one. JMO.
Sure you do . This is sort of thing that could really mess up the locker room leading up to a big game. If you do it Monday, you have a week to get the rest of the team synced up.
I pray it is new info that something came up
BS. Quit trying to win an Emmy. You’re not alone.
Not happening. You’ll have to settle for me admitting my instincts were wrong. And I don’t TRY to pizz people off...I gitter done! Not lying, I'm serious. I actually like you as a poster. But you did spend three days trying to pizz people off lol, so you had to know there would be some reaction. And given the new info, I'm sure you are also more comfortable with the decision. I'd rather we hug it out and move on?
He turned his back on a young man that needed his help and wrote him off because of pressure from talking heads.
