I don't think a coach should be expected to "hate" their alma mater. Want to beat them? Yes. But if Peyton Manning was to be a head coach anywhere but UT do you think he could suddenly lose his love for Tennessee and "hate" us?

If you have so much hatred for this program and staff that you never can see the good in anything anyone does I'd suggest you find another team to pull for. I feel sorry for ya, it has to be awful to be that miserable all the time.

Pruitt has proven he gets fired up to play against his home state schools, but we don’t play Alabama, Auburn, Alabama St, Alabama A&M, Troy, Jack STate & South Al every week. I need to see that passion EVERY week. He’s not shown it thus far.

That being said, there was a moment tonight... maybe the halftime “complaint” about play calling... maybe the way he reacted to Jordan’s run... not sure when... but I almost physically saw Pruitt’s blood change from Alabama red to Tennessee orange during the game.

I agree. After all he better, this team is his to make or break. His bottom line depends on him bringing some respect back to Rocky Top!!

So. Two weeks in a row that Pruitt just showed that he IS the coach. These players have bought in and we are now seeing their play and the game results reflecting this. Boys have become men. Men have become warriors. This team and this coach are improving dramatically week to week.

Love seeing coach with the penalty and the fire. Loved seeing him and JG hug after the game. Love watching these guys!
