Dude would still leave for Bama in an instant if the AD called after Saban retired
I am not sure being Bama born I would not do the same if the opportunity presented itself. That being said what I saw for 100 percent fact ( IMO ) tonight is that while he is clad in Orange his blood is going to be type BO. BIG ORANGE!!!

I honestly don't know if he would. Here he has an opportunity to build a program without having to win a national championship in the next 4-5 years as long as he keeps improving he will be around for a while. He leaves for Bama and doesn't win a national championship in 3 years he will be fired. Alabama did go through 3 head coaches in 10 years before Saban got there. That won't change after he leaves if coaches are not winning championships.

A ragtag band of mostly beat up freshmen led by a first-time head coach learning on the job went toe to toe with an NFL farm team led by an evil genius backed by 100,000 blood-thirsty fans in a hostile environment run by a striped shirt enforcement racket and had them Bammers rattled for three and a half quarters leaving them with no doubt they'd been in a fight. Coach Pruitt and his Vols done good.

Does anyone think he finally got a good dose of the “Big Bama Screw” from the other side last night and that has maybe flipped his allegiance even more away from them?

It was undeniable last night and he strikes me as a straight up competitor that got horribly ticked off by it...maybe like most Bamners he just blew it off but last night he was on the other side of it and finally a was like “Man, this s*** is real”

I have been pretty vocal about his let downs so far but I think he has taken a step in the right direction. The team actually looked like a team tonight and make no mistake, we were playing Bama a tough game. Can't beat the officials too. Plus Bama will get theirs soon enough and that will make me happy

I am not so sure that will happen. I don't think he will turn his back on this team he is building and he has invested his heart and sole to Tennessee. Knowing some of the explayers who have talked to him and Flumer, they say the atmosphere around the program is like it hasn't been in 10-15 years. If Maurer can avoid further injuries, we can win the rest of our games this year. That would open the door to a very good recruiting class this year and set the table for the talent and depth we need to become legitimate contenders to be in the top four teams in the SEC. The other coaches see it coming and they know wat the future hold.
