Wasn't meant to be a rebuttal, just talking out early, didn't have enough coffee yet I reckon. Just stating what it takes, the 3 clouds dust anology from some is silly. We were at a point where we had to get better at the running game and you have to run it some to do that. GBO!

How can you say consistently when he plays one possession and JG comes in? That does not make sense even if he doesn't do the best on that series, the next series could be good. JG makes the same mistakes and he doesn't get pulled.

That's fine, not defending all of his passes, but you should have left out the part of actual interceptions happening or I wouldn't have commented lol but I get what you're saying.

Hate to say this, well, no I don't.

Why does Shrout have a knee brace on his left knee? Was his knee bothering him Saturday? How was his confidence level during that game? Do you know exactly what is wrong with Maurer? How well is he doing in.practice? Do you know how the screws in JG's hand are effecting his play?

If you don't know any of these answers in detail or can only answer with what you've seen from your couch watching TV or what you've read on the internet, I wouldn't say it makes you look very smart either.

No turnovers eh? Other than the interception JG threw in the end zone which cost us points right before the half?

Otherwise, I think your theory holds water. Pruitt clearly wants to play JG over the young ones no matter what, so I guess he thinks running Shrout out there for a series to start each half takes a little pressure off Jarrett and helps him settle down or something? Who knows. I just wish Pruitt would play Maurer and that the kid wasn’t made of glass.....not gonna get my wish on either count though.

I understand both your points.

One, we aren’t around these QBs every day in the QB room and on the practice field we don’t see what the coaches do, in depth, regarding how the guys each process information and pick up the offense....and how they lead.

On the other hand though, last week was a great opportunity to get Shrout more in-game work vs an opponent we were gonna beat no matter what. And his reasoning for benching Shrout, saying “we can’t have turnovers”, when Shrout didn’t actually turn the ball over.....in favor of JG, who did actually have a turnover, rang a little hollow to me.

Anywho, as difficult as it is at times, I’m just trying to trust Pruitt and Chaney with the QB situation because they clearly know light years better than me and all other fans regarding the situation. But at times, it’s just difficult to watch what I perceive as them not giving opportunities to QBs with more potential/higher ceilings who need to gain experience, versus running out there what has turned out to be a deeply flawed QB in JG.

I'm not arguing that we should question Pruitt by the way, I'm only questioning those that seem to know more than he does.

Not sure what you're point is when my whole point was we don't have all the information to understand why Pruitt is doing what he's doing with the QB situation. You agree, but you don't understand why he left JG in instead of letting Shrout get some more time. Maybe his knee was bothering him and Pruitt didn't want to get into it so he used the turnover excuse. I don't know, but its also not as important to me that I do know. We won and a whole new set of circumstances for us all to argue about and make up conspiracies about is two days away.

I didn't realize it until this season, but the young man has no rhythm to his game at all. Good QBs during practices develop that timing or ryhthm like the beat of a song in how and when to get rid of the ball. JG cannot keep a beat.

You said it!!! He has no rhythm! And why can't he it a receiver "in stride".....the receiver always has to stop and reach back for the ball....
