Your right , the puppies do have way more talent than us. But. We’re making the same mistake in this game that they made in the first game of the season. I don’t believe Georgia state is ranked that high.Because were playing the #3 team in the country that has immensely more talent and depth than us.
Shamburger has to be the biggest pansy when it comes to wrapping up a player. So sick of the shoulder lunges.
In preseason they kept saying our secondary was supposed to be a strength. I never understood that.BT is just like him. Hell, very few in the secondary will lay a blow on someone. None of them will wrap up. Weakest position on the team IMO. Then again, our kickers are starting to get consideration.
Clearly Pruitt is having some problems, the personnel not being lined up is indicative of that. But we also just don't have the players on D Line. They aren't even close to SEC caliber. Then there is youth sprinkled throughout.
Too many holes to not sink this year. If we recruit the D line well, my guess is with more exp everywhere else...the communication issues would improve as well.
Feel like our D is one big negative feedback cycle atm
Agree. I still believe this is a “throw away” season for Pruitt to get more of his guys in for that side of the ball. But Maurer gives me hope for rest of season (outside Bama).Honestly I think this is why Simmons is getting the RS. We don’t even have a true nose this season. Next year we will have 2.
