Great way to put a lot of people at risk and ruin your life at the same time.
Government will go after her assets.
I wonder how this is around other prisons.
People put at risk? Victimless "crime" here.

Both face up to 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and an order to pay back the money they earned illegally if convicted.
So let me get this straight, you can kill a man and serve 15 years, but if you are caught smuggling contraband, you get 20 years? Again... victimless "crime".

Reaves is serving a 15-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter in the shooting of a man at a Marion County convenience store in 2015.

It’s not victimless. Gang leaders issue orders through cell phones in prison.

Yeah... the gang leader would get 15 years for calling out a hit but 20 years for smuggling in the cellphone.

Cellphones don't kill people. People kill people.

Many of the gang leaders are already serving life sentences, so additional time does Jack squat.

OK... so how many guys on the street are going to listen to some clown locked up in the can for life barking out orders? Not many. Since they are on the streets, they are going to want to call their own shots.

This entire cellphone nonsense is a distraction and ridiculous. Especially when you consider that this one guy involved got more time for smuggling cellphones than he did for killing a man.

Again, you are a smart guy. You know this is some BS nonsense. Smuggling cellphones? Swapping cash for contraband in prison? Really? Is THAT worthy of Leon Lott and those clowns down there to have a photo op and throw 20 years on someone?

Killing a man or smuggling phones and contraband in prison? Which one is more dangerous to the greater society? This really isn't that hard of a decision.
