I thought Gray did a great job early. Then it seemed that they focused on giving Chandler the touches. Both are top performers on an unperforming team.

He also dropped an easy pass that would have given us a sure first down that we desperately needed and missed a couple of blocks that cost us. He plays hard and runs hard, but Gray is the better back already and it ain't even really close.

Gray and Chandler are a good 1 and 1A. I liked that the offense found a running play.....and kept running it for positive yards. Almost broke it a couple of times. JJ was awesome.....so much so he was double teamed. When was the last time we saw that? Freshman tackles held up pretty well, it being just game 2. We had a Crouch sighting and Henry T is a baller. Young guys showing up......seems like the staff is good at talent evaluation. There is a lot to work with.....just need a few more pieces. One in particular.

Gray will be a beast at his next school. These kids will be jumping ship very soon.
Cant say I blame them. Best of luck to them.
I apologize for not being able to get you competent coaching during your time here.

After watching the video and seeing how much yardage they gained, maybe we should start teaching our players to face backwards too! LOL
