The proposed QB change has me intrigued... That coupled with Foster's benching has got me eager to see the NIU game. Anybody else feel this way. I had no plans of watching this game with Crompton and Foster starting.
I want to see Stephens and Hardesty with Creer getting alot of carries too.
I haven't seen anything about Foster being benched either. I think someone heard something about it on a radio show. Does anyone have a link to confirm this?
I wish Fulmer would bench more players when they mess up a lot. It is know Foster has a fumbling problem and it can be fixed. I would have benched him in the Florida game when he got that personal foul. Fulmer needs to grow some and do something when players have a cronic problem that is detremental to the teams success
I think the fumble was more Crompton's fault than it was Foster's. The running back is looking upfield for a place to run. The QB has to put it where the RB can get it. Crompton failed to do this. I think 90% of our trouble on offense rests at the feet of our QB.
Theres no doubt qb play is the main problem. You know if he was just a little better we'd probably be 3-1 and the florida game would have been a much better game so I agree with Phil when he says that this team is close but if this is the best qb will have then we might as well be light years away.
Was Foster benched for the 2nd half? It would not shock me to see Hardesty run with the new QB because he has probably gotten more practice snaps with him anyway during the year. It is probably a more natural combination for a new QB. That being said, I bet we see Foster as much once the game gets going.
Is CPF going to announce a starter before Saturday? If there is no announcement or if Crompton is announced the starter, then I might miss my first game this season.
The more i listen to Stephens talk in conferences the more excited I get. It is almost like starting a new season in my book. I hope Stephens is named the starter. If JC is the starter I will not be happy. We have seen what he can do in game. Nothing!
