What part do you not agree with? The talent loss isn't really disputable considering Morris and Lawrence are starting for the #2 ranked team and Henry is starting for the #1 ranked team. Grey is second string to one of the best RB in CFB. It's not really accurate to say that those players weren't very good anyway when they went to the top teams and won starting positions.
Do you think the defense has more depth than expected and won't get tired from the high tempo offense we plan to run?
Eric gray - fun.. easily replaced.. get you fix with Jaylen Wright this year.
Wanya- he sucked... in all honesty.. it’s cool to have a 5 star yea... he under performed
KeyLaw- freshman... based off hype but I agree I like him too
all these guys can be replaced minus Henry... ( Dkjr was better anyways minus the injury’s)
B.Young, Baron, O.Thomas, Old Man Butler, and R.Harrison are gonna disrupt some offenses. It's a solid lineup but, are there any of these players even picked for 3rd team all SEC? Some may just be unproven but have the potential for greatness. However, especially on the defensive side of the ball, there don't appear to be a lot of explosive playmakers or potential high round draft picks.
But the fact that they are starting for teams that are way more talented than our team makes me think that it was more coaching or lack of motivation from the previous staff. I hope that you are right and they can be easily replaced but it's also August so optimism abounds this time every year.Eric gray - fun.. easily replaced.. get you fix with Jaylen Wright this year.

Tillman is a starter at WR and I don’t think it’s even debatable at this point.QB- Joe Milton (RSSo.), Hendon Hooker (Sr.), Harrison Bailey (So.)

Maybe Oklahoma really sucked at those positions. Sounds like it if Morris is starting. But the fact that they are starting for teams that are way more talented than our team makes me think that it was more coaching or lack of motivation from the previous staff. want your best five on the field. Carvin should be your center. Mats at guard and Davis at tackle. Cooper is serviceable, he’s out of his league.Cade is a better guard than tackle. Spraggins is better than Cade at guard. Davis was working at left tackle with Wright on the right. Insert Spraggins, bumped Cade to right and Wright to left (odd sentence phonetically). That's the best five right now. Carvin has locked down LG, and Cooper locked down center.
Ergo: Wright, Carvin, Co. Mays, Spraggins, Ca. Mays
It's a fairly simple explanation, and I don't understand how anyone could argue the first five in "30% of practice the media watches" aren't the first five the rest of the day.
Not seen any reports that Cooper isn't prepared to start at center. What makes you say that?want your best five on the field. Carvin should be your center. Mats at guard and Davis at tackle. Cooper is serviceable, he’s out of his league.
Where you seeing this? Cade is the only definite loss on the OL…and he has eligibility. Doubt Carvin declares and hell…Calbert might return! Butler and Bumphus are the only mainstays in their last season and their backups like Omari Thomas and Terry are neck and neck with playing time. Blakely is useful but Garland and Bailey should be back. Solomon and Tremblay suddenly way ahead? I don’t see your depth chart. They’ll have to replace both lines. Massive drop off behind the starters.
I thought Carvin should have started over Kennedy a long time ago. Pretty much anyone who knows Oline knows Cooper is undersized. Gutsy kid, but this is the SEC. without question he is the least talented and body ready of the starters. Hell, one of our best centers was Bubba Miller and he was 5’10”, so who knows. Not seen any reports that Cooper isn't prepared to start at center. What makes you say that?
Also, if Cooper isn't capable of handling C duty, I'm not sure Carvin is the best replacement.
Cade, Carvin, Wright are likely gone.Where you seeing this? Cade is the only definite loss on the OL…and he has eligibility. Doubt Carvin declares and hell…Calbert might return! I'm not sure how athletically gifted he is, but I don't think his size (6'3" 300) is that much of an issue. He's just a hair lighter than Alabama's center but same height (6'3" 305). He's shorter but heavier than LSU's center (6'5" 285). And not that much smaller than Georgia's (6'4" 305). He may not be as talented or athletically gifted, but I'm not convinced of the size argument (with all due respect).I thought Carvin should have started over Kennedy a long time ago. Pretty much anyone who knows Oline knows Cooper is undersized. Gutsy kid, but this is the SEC. without question he is the least talented and body ready of the starters. Wouldnt this also mean the top schools hit the portal bc they werent good enough at those position?? We cant possibly tire out more then last year, with an offense that couldnt get 1st downs let alone score. Lets be real, Morris wasnt good last year & im not sure he would be a guaranteed starter on this team. OU needed an OT so it worked out. UT replaced a 5 star LT with another 5 star. Lawerence is all potential. Flowers, Tank, & Jackson were going to be ahead of him. He would still have to battle with McDonald & Slaughter for PT. He did the right thing to transfer. They replaced him with the DB from Bama. Gray played a position thats a dime a dozen. They replaced him with the #1 Juco RB. They were good players but we went 3-7 with them. Sometimes in football its better to have more lunchpales then movie stars. What part do you not agree with?
