Who are some teams you could see beating the SEC for a championship in the near future? My two are USC and Ohio St. USC obviously has tons of talent and Urban Meyer will have Ohio St on an SEC level in a few years IMO.

Hoke could have Michigan at the top again, imo before Meyer.

Michigan.

Hoke is doing a fabulous job. I'm not saying that as a UM fan either. Michigan is going places.

Michigan, Ohio State. Maybe Oregon at some point if they aren't doing anything wrong.

"dethrone" is a funny term though.

I think if the SEC loses this season, people will be like "THEY HAVE BEEN KNOCKED OFF!"

Which just still isn't true.

You won't see another conference as dominant as the SEC has been the past 10 years.

I wouldnt say dethrone but there will be teams that will challenge the sec. USC should win it all this year. If they do, the whole country will celebrate as if it's the SEC's downfall.

Not after alabubba destroys them week one. Then again if you are gonna lose, the first week is the time. Plenty of football left to rise back up in the rankings.

I hate that it works that way

A week one loss should count as much as a week thirteen loss

The two teams that come to my mind are Michigan and Michigan St. USC has alot of talent, but there schedule makes me think they might choke in a big game.

Both are good choices. Ironically I think the qb position is their weakness. MSU because they lost Cousins and UM's Robinson is a rb playing qb.

How can one program dethrone an entire conference? If one team outside the SEC ever wins another BCS title, then the SEC is no longer the strongest conference?
