I haven't seen a thread for Pro Day yet... I'm excited to see what our guys look like. Here is hoping Hyatt and Tillman can significantly improve on their combine numbers (40 times). James banks would be helped by a slight improvement also.

I saw James Banks ball out in Tuscaloosa in 2003. Good times

Hyatt's 4.41 isn't fast enough?

And Jeremy Banks had some of the best combine numbers for a LB
4.51 40
25 reps on Bench
38 vertical

for Hyatt no 4.41 is not first-round speed for a 175 lb WR and thanks for helping me notice my dyslexia James and Jeremy always get mixed up in my head. Jeremy banks had a great combine I am just saying if he can improve his 40 it would be even better. The only one whose draft position is 100% depending on his 40 today is Hyatt... trust me after all the hype about his speed NFL teams were looking for something in the low 4.3's from him. When your whole entire game is based on a single thing, speed, a 4.41 is not enough when there are defensive linemen running 4.3s and 4.4s. Byron Young ran a 4.43 and Nolan Smith ran a 4.39.

Name 3 successful WR's in the modern NFL under 180 lbs... I'll wait... Now I know of a few but the one huge thing about them is 1 they were all special teams guys and/or ran faster than 4.41. Hyatt has 2 huge knocks on him his size and his lack of special teams experience. I love the guy but I'm a realist. The on thing he has going for him is this years draft is full of smurfs.. but they all have more thorough resumes and/or play special teams..

Man... there's just not been many more of a humble, thankful, talented, committed kid come through Tennessee over the last several years like BY...I wish him MANY years of success!
For sure....I mean top to bottom I think last years team had the most likable players of any UT team I can remember outside of the late 90's teams.

Interesting when he was asked what QB his is most like he said he thinks his style most resembles Deshaun Watson and Josh Allen.

I'd Pay-Per-View some BIG $s to watch Hendon visit Coach Gruden in the QB Corner...from the Las Vegas HQ of The Fired Football Coaches Association

No. Not when most CBs run faster than that and won't be confused by Huepels formations and hyper speed play calling. He's not a juking tackle avoiding wide receiver, not big enough to block effectively. He needed speed to boost his status, without it, he'll need to show that his I'm game speed is enough(if it in fact is). Without it, he won't last long in the league. I like the guy, I just never saw the speed during games that he was hyped to have. I hope he does make it and continue to represent the University as well as he has.
