Did anyone read about the petition to keep the POS from performing? That's several days old news but we saw it in paper. Usually I get my news from VN 😀. Surprised nothing on here. I believe there are also several counter petitions. Think I'll go sign one of them!

I knew they were a constant fixture at the inauguration but I didn't realize they weren't invited for the last one:

The announcement marks the band's return to the presidential festivities after it was not invited to President Barack Obama's second inauguration in January 2013. The band had marched in every inauguration parade since Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn in to his first full presidential term in 1965.

That's Obama for you. Always pissing on tradition and screwing up a good thing. Well... bye.

Not even his call. It's a Congressional committee that chooses the groups. Undoubtedly that call had more influence from McConnell and Boehner's staffs, since they were the Republican committee members.

Well, you knew by the petition he had never been in The Pride. No one who has made that kind of commitment to the band would try to keep others from attending. Drama queen, sour grapes, or.....word my mama didn't allow me to use:p.

The PRIDE rules:rock:
