"Don't miss chart 2!"

It happens at least once a season. It is just a lot more noticeable with a big sousaphone sitting on your shoulder!

Missed that at the game, but did notice live the sousaphone fall down as they go back down the field in the "VOLS". Top of the "O" on the far sideline, bout the 20. Wonder if it was the same guy?.

I called my son to see if he had heard about the sousaphone blowing the formation. He said it happened right in front of him. They were yelling at the guy to just mark time when they took off again so the line could catch up with his "head start".

I know one poster said he was impressed with the band, but the band was highly unimpressed with themselves. My son said it was probably their worst night all year.

Still better than the buck 50 band by a mile, even at our worst.

They're not the first person that it's happened to. You sort of coast through it if you don't pay attention. They just mark time then do the side step to join back with their line.

I played Sousaphone at Knoxville West, can't imagine how cool it would have been to march in the Pride of the Southland Marching band in Neyland in front of 100,000 plus.

I thought the half-time show was a bit weak. I was there for the UF and it was pretty good.

Question, have all of their shows this season been in the OSU style with the stick men?

This is still much improved over the half time shows such as the Wizard of Oz, the Best of Justin Bieber, and being asked to holler Woof Woof when they played How Much is that Doggie in the Window!

To the current and former POSMB members...I lived all over this country and all over the world from 1980-2005 and let me tell you how important you were/are to me and the other Tennesseans serving abroad. Watching our vols win, no matter the sport was/is great, but there is nothing that will fill our heart faster, or bring a tear of sheer joy to our eyes quicker than hearing the POSMB playing and the fans singing Rocky Top. Thank you for a lot of comfort over the years!

I agree, even though I moved away from Knoxville, listening to the POSMB always takes me back home.

Ha. Tuba missed his sidestep before the national anthem. Awwkwaaard.

I was at the game and heard that. I know very little about marching bands etc I mean I play guitar some but that tuba did stand out.
