Franklin was pretty hated by Tennessee fans during his time at Vandy, so probably for the best.

JF is Lane Kiffin and Bruce Pearl. You hate him if he is on the other sideline/bench, you love him on yours. As a program that at this point is an underdog to all of our rivals having a guy that likes to punch up isn't bad imo, if it is him.

I think Freeze, Kiffin and Chadwell are untouchable this go-round since what was said at the press conference about integrity being paramount.

If we have a coach who we believe is a homerun, then pay him 10 million per year if that is what it takes. I have never understood the pearl clutching with coaching salaries. A good coach will bring in massive amounts of money. Paying a lower tier coach 4 million and then buying them out every 3-4 years isn't exactly working

I completely agree with your point. Unfortunately, all the coaches of such status know better than to touch this toxic program until it is in a somewhat healthier position.
