Preview of what other message boards are saying (early Vandy edition)

We gonna gloss over one of them not knowing to use “their” instead of “there” when referring to the head coach? I thought Vandy and THEIR fans were supposed to be smarter.

Also trying to figure out how anyone could possible say Nico was smart to leave when he’s going to walk with a limp and maybe have brain damage after this year.
Their ‘fans’ apparently did not attend the university, one would hope 😂

I know I know- this isn’t mine to do - that’s why it’s a preview.. found some to early ones to share though since I’m excited for this week.

Tennessee facts:
1. They haven’t beaten an FBS team with a winning record this year.
2. They are 85th in total defense this year.
3. They are 4th in total offense.
4. They are some b**** a** m************
5. They have refined the “art” of butt-chugging
6. There head coach is a giant pumpkin
7. Aguilar is very, very old .. time to quit playing around and get a job for God’s sake
8. Nico was smart to leave .. UCLA sucked before he arrived and still do but at least they beat Penn State and got Jimmy fired.

- Glad UT won. Makes the value of a win next week that much more valuable.
- They probably didn't want to put too much on film. I expect them to come out slinging it early and often against VU
-Usually Heupel is all about running the score up on bad teams and padding Aguilar’s stats but he didn’t seem to want to do that tonight.
- There’s 11 games already on film. UT’s messageboards and X are filled with upset fans demanding to know why UT didn’t keep passing deep and score 70 or more points on Florida.

Seems like the consensus is they feel confident they beat us… but think they will be in the citrus bowl- not the CFP.

I’ll leave the bulk of the nuggets for the week to @NO SIR EEE ..
Thats a lot for their one fan to be typing.

Imagine being such a Busch League, defeated fanbase that you EXPECT to be the 1st ever 2 loss SEC team LEFT OUT of the playoffs even IF you miraculously beat the VOLS team that spotted you 14points at HOME last season in the first 3mins and STILL beat you like you stole something while blowing you out.

Imagine knowing that even at 10-2 in the SEC you deserve a bowl game and not the playoffs...because you have been loser cucks for your entire lives and that doesnt simply change just because you have the same 7th year QB who talked all that smack before getting beat down at home LAST year.

Imagine being that defeated mentally. This is why nobody has any trouble buying tickets every other year and turning the Vandy stadium into Neyland West and a sea of Orange at will.

Gotta love it. End Pavias career with another loss to UT and a demoralizing beating that removes them from any playoff discussion.

I would read a 750 page book about the life of Hillary Clinton before I would read a single page on a Vandy message board.

On the crapper. At test depth. On the Midwatch. After "Spicy Chili Night." Sitting in the stall next to another Chief who ate one bowl too many.

TMI?
Yep. I'm tolerant of all that except the reference to Killery. Watch your back (and neck).

I don't consider Vandy a rival-I simply see them as someone we beat yearly to end a season on a positive note! They don't get anger or anything from me because I don't see them as a threat!

I’m with you. I think the league office took pity on our decade of dysfunction by giving us Vandy and Kentucky as our permanent opponents the next 4 years.

I would gladly trade either for Florida

Not me. Our schedule was based on history and tradition. It was the most logical decision.

Idk..... 2 of our 3 permanent opponents are teams that don't qualify as accomplishments for beating.

Beat Bama is an accomplishment for Tennessee
Beat Florida is an accomplishment for Tennessee
Beating Georgia is an accomplishment for Tennessee

Beating Vandy and Kentucky is nothing more than a "of course that is what is going to happen when these two teams face off"

You fail to understand the reasoning of the SEC‘s decision or the power of tradition, the basis for the scheduling.

Joey's making about $1.5 mil for 7 months worth of work, and this dude thinks he needs to get a job? Rich.
Yep. This is likely his final go at football unless it's a NFL wanna be league. Play as long as you can and bank it for the future.

That might be true in most situations, except when Vandy happens to have a good season in football or basketball. Then they want to make up for years of below average to average results by talking loads and loads of crap. That's when I love to see a beatdown of the Commode Dores, just as a historical reminder.

The “age” thing is gold, considering Vanderbilt has the oldest team in the conference and Tennessee has the youngest by comparison.

That graphic tells you everything you need to know about how Vandy is 9-2. NIL and the Transfer Portal is the best thing to ever happen to them.
Couple that with them lowering their entrance requirements for athletes, and here we are. Yes, for athletes only. I happen to know that for a fact. My daughter was required to have a 35 to even be considered there. Meanwhile, Vandy just signed an athlete with a 21 ACT from the same high school.

They are a school with a serious identity crisis.

FIrst: Vandy has message boards?
Second: "Aguilar is very, very old .. time to quit playing around and get a job for God’s sake" Aguilar is 24, Pavia is 23 it is not like there is 5 years between them.
Third: No one wants to hear about Nico anymore he is old news.
Fourth: TN will use the same game plan against Vandy it did against FL: Own the line of scrimmage and take what the defense gives you. FL played 2 high safeties so we ran all night.
Fifth: Vandy Sucks.
These Vandy fans clearly never actually attended Vandy if they have no concept of basic math
