It adds to the fan experience, which in turn is another recruiting tool. Also, if you win the big games it adds to the atmosphere. It's not necessarily an advantage because some other stadiums have them as well, but not having them can be a disadvantage.

Was it not working for the BG game? I was there and don't recall any light show. I did notice the orange lights on top of the skyboxes.

This! We went to the first game, and if you weren’t staring at the lights then you didn’t really notice them.

Lights have been a bit of a bust so far. They tried to do pregame stuff with them for BG, but it’s not dark at 7:30.

Its because the regular stadium lights are turned off in the video and picture. With the stadium lights on, its not nearly as noticeable. I dont hate the new lights, but they obviously are a knock-off version of what Bama and UGA did.

The game before that 730pm Bowling Green. Do you really think we were going to do the full show for BG?

They will shut off all the lights Saturday and the place is going to go wild. GBO

Love the lights at Truist Park. Cant wait to see them at Neyland. Tennessee is the Volunteer State. Hope to see a lot of red, white, and blue with that orange and white. We should invite ALUMNI singers to sing the alma mater. Once the game is on, the focus needs to shift to the players and the plays. Scream like crazy on defense and chill on offense except when we score...a lot...Rocky Top! GBO! VFL!

Unless the video is not good, they are not super impressive. I would rather wait a year or two until we could have afforded the cadillac version like bama and UGA. Maybe we can upgrade.
