Years ago, the businesses of Miami hated when Florida State made it into The Orange Bowl. They said something like “ they arrived here with $5 and a half tank of gas and left with both.”

Decades ago a fella on the Sugar Bowl committee told me that their nightmare was that LSU would win the SEC, and there'd be hundreds of pickup trucks driving down from The North (that's Louisiana north of Lake Pontchartrain) the day of the game with no passengers, just the driver--who had a twenty in his wallet, a toothpick between his teeth, bound and determined to break neither.

Do a lot of Auburn students come from Georgia? I thought Georgia had a lottery where kids could go to Georgia colleges for a song.
