making a neutral site "home" game for NIL benefit. first in history.
They are pretty hard up for NIL cash. I think Yellawood might have closed the wallet. That recruiting class doesn't look good at all and the portal class looks less than stellar in retrospect. Skill position players are cheaper than QBs in the portal.

It’s 100 miles. Students will love a weekend in Atlanta.
Students with lots of disposable income! What would a weekend--just a [day + night + day] in Hotlanta cost?

@Drewbydoo - How many Auburn students could you board overnight, and how much would you charge? How far away is the houseboat?

(Hope you're doing well my friend!)

This might actually be fun.
Brings a little more to the neutral site kickoff games.
The Tennessee Syracuse kickoff game was pretty fun to go to the extra goodies happening around the stadium. But, man that environment was nothing whatsoever like Neyland stadium. It's a big loss from a college football fan perspective in my opinion. I'm not talking about nice chair backs and arms, Giant screens air conditioning and all that. Maybe I'm old school, but it's not near as exciting as a game on a college campus. All IMO

Colleges taking the free money when it is put in front of them. I would wager it costs a lot less for schools to send their team's to an NFL stadium instead of hosting home games.
It is about the TV market out in the Southwest. Auburn is in a obscured location. Not much there. Atlanta easy in and out and this move is as stated about NIL and recruiting. Atlanta is window dressing for the con. Once a player gets to campus it is in the middle of nowhere and country. Not much to offer.
