And no one knows who they are reeling in. Most of the top recruits wait till the UA game or the Army game to announce. Maybe CBJ wants coaches that can coach kids up and make this program what it was. That will get more recruits here then the best recruiters in the country. A winning PROGRAM!!!!!!!! Let the coaches to what they are paid to do.

The fact that you're stretching your vocabulary as to sound more educated than other posters does not coincide with your name calling and egotistic posts. You're assuming that everyone defending CBJ right now were defending Dooley and Fulmer towards the end of their tenures here. That assumption makes you look even more ignorant because you have no accurate evidence to support grouping all the people who oppose you into one group. Your argument has no more solidity than anyone who would group all Republicans as Over-Religious Rich people and all Democrats as Atheist Pot-Heads

Since, in your words, you've been "Following UT Recruiting religiously longer than we've been alive." Who exactly should we be targeting right now instead of the ones who haven't announced but we have offered, the ones taking OV's in January and those already currently commited.

we didn't ever have a shot at Newton plus Boyd did not fit our offense. If you saw Clemson against SC you would know that Boyd could not make the throws that are required in a pro-style offense. Bray was a far better fit talent wise.

With that being the case, I thought our recruiting standards had dropped considerably before Dooley started losing this year, and now with Cincinnati's staff being transplanted, it seems they've brought their usual standards in recruiting with them.

I'm trying to have a positive outlook on this, but every time I look at who we've offered, the only 4-5 stars are guys we already had some inroads with. I know CBJ must be looking at this realistically, but damn, Dooley had about a week to salvage our class, and still managed to pull in a few big fish (D. Rodgers and Hunter). It's pretty depressing to see all these new 3* star offers, out of nowhere.

If we do pull in any 4-5* guys, it will only be those that Thigpen or Martinez had been courting at Auburn. I'm hoping they do, but what does that say about all the staff from Cincinnati? It's says we have a longer road to recovering than I ever imagined.

I see no where that you are trying to be positive. Jones has rid us some not so good 2013 commits and has a 4 star commit for 2114. The dead period ends next month and we will see how the new staff does during the month before singing day. He is in on some very good recruits for 2013 and will likely bring in some recruits which we are not yet aware. One of the biggest pluses is the number of players he has sent to the NFL, more than Tennessee has sent in the last 5 years, so he nad his staff must be able to coach 3* players to play better than their *rank. Time to get with the program or support another team.
