yea i overheard morley talking at a liquor store lol and he said that the workouts were killing him. he also said they had to be out there at 5 or 6 am cant remember.

On a side note he looked skinnier than normal, didnt seem much bigger than me and i'm 5'10" 160.

He just doesn't want to play football anymore. He wont be playing anywhere.

Sounds like the case to me. Someone who quits because it is too much work is not going to have the initiative to seek another program. Football practice is dang hard work even under the softest of coaching staffs.

Are you serious? Morley shouldn't be allowed withing 500 yards of a liquor store with the issues he's had

I think stuff like this is proof of what a load of crap it was when Fulmer, his coaches, and his players would throw out all the cliches about working hard...

You know..."work like heck", "Finish the Fight"(or whatever cheeseball phrase was last year's team motto), and putting up 4 fingers at the end of the 3rd quarter(as if to imply they would own the 4th because of tough conditioning)...

Slowly but surely the kind of atmosphere that was fostered under the previous head coach is being exposed

You don't win in the SEC with powder puff football players. Pretty obvious we were the powder puff football team under previous CPF.

Pass out the Sugar Tits and get the babies off the field. We want the ones that will dig in and play. The season should be a cake walk after the spring and summer. GO VOLS!!! And may the cream rise to the top.

Prediction 10 + wins 2009. Top recruiting class of talent loaded on team. Just needing a different coaching method.

"Carry the fight" was last season's cheeseball motto. It was taken from "Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes" - one of General Neyland's maxims.

My understanding from rivals is that he has taken a leave, but as of now is still considered to be on the team.

Leave of absence, so to speak. Better not stay gone long, it won't be worth coming back.

in regards to Mark Smith. what was the deal about him getting pissed and storming out of the weight room?

I thought he and Lane got into it and Smith kicked the team out of the weightroom until Lane let him do what he wanted to do.
