What my heart wants to believe: Davenport announces Leach as coach and Fulmer as AD, and that Leach simply didn't want to work under Currie after all that has happened.

What my head thinks will happen: Davenport will announce Fulmer as AD, and that the coaching search will continue, and we'll be back to Dave Doeren or Greg Schiano type prospects.

All of this is irrelevant, we are losing commits, and to be honest, if I grew up a UT fan, which I did, and I always wanted to play for UT.........I would. This day and age of playing for the coach vs. the school.......there is no loyalty anymore, these new recruits are all about themselves and what is in it for me. College Football in no better than the NFL...........just a bunch of p........

So you are hand wringing over losing commits that you didn't want anyway because they lack loyalty?

Take a deep breath.

So are you. The right coach is more important than getting recruits

Yes, we're likely to take a step back in Recruiting. It's necessary. Here's to hoping they finally get the Athletic Department straightened out. An Athletic Department with the authority to run things can make all the difference. So, short-term struggles for long-term gain? I'm on board.
Who they hire? I'm still hoping Blackburn. But this one isn't up to us either.
