No one has ever bashed the guy personally, it's always been professionally. And he has deserved it. He can cry all day long, but I don't have sympathy for someone who was treated like royalty, was paid big big money to produce, and simply hasn't on a national level for the past 8 years.

His time has passed and it's time to go another direction. Doesn't mean you can't be thankful for what he did way in the past, but I saw where some people were asking if people would still bash on him, professionally, or if they were glad they had. Personally, you're damn right I'm glad I did. He deserved it. And his crying doesn't change the results on the field. You want to become Notre Dame? Please.

I hope the next coach will put the fan base and board on notice and tell them to back off and let me do my job. It may not be pretty at first but give me a reasonable amount of time to turn it around.

wow, yes, there were some really stupid stupid press questions. They should never have allowed those local yocal press jokers to even be there.

I could detect some animosity between Phillip and the Ahteletic director also.

We shall see how it turns out, but im afraid that they have burned a bridge that will be tough to rebuild without an extremely talented initial hire.:mf_surrender:

Yes he is. He said that wasn't the way it should have been done. Berry isn't too happy either. Reporter asked Berry if this meant he would transfer...he just glared and wouldn't answer the question.

I just finished watching the press conf and watching coach giving his statements. It was rough, I have been just as guilty as everyone else in wanting Fulmer gone,but when you sit there and watch a coach that has givin everything to the University of Tennessee leave it is a difficult pill to swallow. Thanks coach for everything and hopefully we can keep you around in some way.

yeah he took some questions,,,tried to look innocent, etc etc,,,,,kept saying how great CPF is, etc,,,,what a joker he is too. In my humble opinion, if there is anywhere CPF should go from here, its the Atheletic Directors position. Just MHO.
