I just saw in an interview where DJT blamed the military for the SEAL being killed. I also saw where he's blaming the protest and leaks on Obama.

Can we please teach this guy a little etiquette and let him know how to speak presidential when speaking about a military members death?? He doesn't need to defend himself on decisions like this. He almost was justifying the entire mission. I get he's taking heat over it but that's what happens when soldiers, marines, airmen and sailors are killed in battle.

He is, without question, the biggest loser to ever preside over the Oval Office.

There is no "presidential" Donny.

Whether I agree with his policies or not, situations like this need to be handled differently. He seems to make issues more about him and how he's treated instead of what's really important.

Remember Hillary dishonoring the deaths in Benghazi with her shenanigans?

Also,

remember when everybody wanted a president who would condemn rioting? Trump has **** to say about Sweden's crime, but has not commented on the Kansas man who killed two Indians for apparently being foreigners.

Trump ain't mad about it and none of his jock-riders are either. They don't care about right and wrong. They only care about what they can use as political fodder.

Presidential etiquette? You mean like making sure your cigar is not lit when inserting it into an intern while in the oval office?

I love when people defend losers by comparing them to other losers.

It's not a winning strategy, man.

"We voted for a guy who, at best, is as big a loser as Obama and the Clintons, and we're pretty cool with that."

- Trump supporters

Cigar, it was a cigar..

apart from his bent dick. And even though the she'd tried to smoke that too, it never stayed lit.

(In your best crackly Slick Willie voice...)

SW: "I did not have sex with that woman"!

America: "What do you think what you did with Mz. Lewdisn'tshe is"?

SW: "That depends on what the definition of 'is' ... is".

"But boy oh boy! Did that seegar taste good"!

I don't give 2 ****s who the President has sex with but I do care when he starts passing the buck on responsibility regarding someone's death.

I knew this was going to happen when he took office. All of his staff members beware, his screw ups will be your fault

No ****ing kidding. Today is the first day I've seen any chatter about this on VN, yet we have threads with dozens of pages about Trump's steak and lack of dogs.

You know, those two threads are a nice break from the absurd amount and type of posting we get from both sides of the equation about Trump. Kind of like the OT thread, it was a chance to actually have a bit of fun, poke at each other a tad and not break down into the BS that normally goes on including how this thread has started out.

If you don't like the fact those two threads provided a bit of levity in an otherwise caustic environment, feel free to return to the FF where the threads are obviously superior and full of rational thought.

I just checked with the NEW "Amy Vanderbilt Book of Modern Etiquette".

And I quote:
(In my best Manhatten fin de sicle snooty high class Dutch matron's voice)

Pg 1136 ... Presidents shall NOT force foreign dignitaries to wait on their orgasm with White House interns, even if he has them wait in the Rose Garden.

So, yeah, we ARE talking about Presidential manners as respect to being presidential.

Not really seeing in that article where Trump blames the military. He does state that mission was into the planing stages before he became President (truthful statement) and the military leadership pitched it to him (which we've gone over before) and he signed off on it (again, discussed before). But nowhere does he say "The military is to blame!" If by "blaming" the military you mean he mentions the raid planning was started under Obama, that's a stretch. Now if you want to say "Trump is not living up to the adage the buck stops here" I would be inclined to agree with you.

Recall that thread about people twisting the words into what they want to hear? Yeah, you're doing it right now.

I saw an interview he did about it live a few days ago. I didn't hear him blame anyone or anything (like a video). I haven't heard he stood at this Seal's casket and then lied to the faces of the family about the circumstances. I also don't think he caused his death by authorizing a mission purely as a distraction from oval office shenanigans...a la the Clintons. You dumbass lefties need some perspective.

He states "they" please tell me who you think he is referring too? He spends the majority of the article deflecting responsibility for issuing the order.

As far as I am twisting words into what I want to hear, you're doing the same thing. You're interpreting it how you want

What's there to say about it? Guy's a nutjob and should hang.

They being who? Please quote the exact spot he says "the mission failure was their fault."

Again, I'll agree if you believe he isn't accepting responsibility as a CinC should. But that's not what you were saying with your OP.

You are right that they are taking the implication of what he says and running with it.

But either way, the correct response from a leader is "I made the call and it's on me. I'm not sure if I prematurely green lit the operation or if it's just one of those things that go wrong with war, but whatever it is, it's on me."
