President Trump's Cabinet?

Would rather see him pardon her with no chance of ever getting a clearance again. Save money and keep her in the dark.
Did she break the law? My gut says yes because of the mere existence of the server. She needs to be prosecuted.

Lock her up.

OR, fine the ever loving hell out of her and the CF.

Sessions is a ball buster

Was there any better way for Trump to unify the country along racial lines and reach out to the disenfranchised black voter than to tap a 30 year advocate for the Ku Klux Klan as Attorney General?

Sessions has not only defended the KKK, he vehemently fought the Voting Rights Act, calling it "intrusive legislation" and has prosecuted Civil Rights activists for trying to register blacks to vote. His nomination for the federal judiciary in the Reagan era was defeated with bipartisan support because of past racist statements. This is a disgrace and just an example of Trump rewarding a "loyal" supporter. I guess we can expect to see David Duke in his cabinet as well.

You have zero room to throw rocks in that glass house.

When did he advocate for the Klan?

I remember that this came up during his confirmation hearing for a federal judgeship in 1986. I don't remember when the comment was initially attributed to him but he said something to the effect of, "The KKK is ok as long as they don't smoke marijuana." I'm sure it's being discussed all around the internet right now. He also called the ACLU and NAACP "un-American". He has quite a history of racial insensitivity and it will come up now.

So, did he advocate for the Klan or did he make a joke about the Klan? The last two AG's are not exactly beacons of impartiality. They represented the constituents and issues that were important to the current administration. Do you expect the next administration to do any different?

I think he has claimed it as a joke. Still...

It sounds like with the part I put in bold that you think that black voter suppression is important to Trump's administration. I hope that's not true but that has been a hallmark of Session's legal pursuits. Trump's claim of trying to bring the country together really was hot air. The appointments of Steve Bannon and now Sessions proves that.

How do you get black voter suppression how of my comments? Do you think voter ID laws are meant to suppress vote and if so why?

No, I don't have a problem with any voter ID law but please check Sessions' history on the subject of civil rights. He once called a white civil rights attorney named Jim Blacksher a "disgrace to his race". He has a history of bogus prosecutions of blacks for voter fraud.

If you could, post some of the bogus prosecutions. Also, how would you rate Eric Holder as an AG?

The most famous one is of the "Marion 3" in Alabama. They were Albert Turner (who had marched in Selma with John Lewis), his wife Evelyn and his friend Spencer Hogue. They were charged in January of 1985 by Sessions with 29 counts of mail fraud, violating the VRA, tampering with absentee ballots and trying to vote more than once. The prosecution included acts of witness intimidation and the charges were baseless... They were acquitted of all counts. Their story is best told in Lani Guinier's book "Lift Every Voice".

I have mixed feelings about Eric Holder, btw.

I haven't seen any proof on Bannon that leads me to believe he is the white supremacist the establishment media paints him as. He seems to be the target of a well orchestrated character assassination.

Thanks. From what I could find it wasn't a bogus prosecution. There may have been some tampering going on even though they were aquitted. Not saying there weren't some issues with the prosecution, such as not persuing some of the same issues in predominately white areas, but an aquittal does not mean it was a bogus prosecution. I'm not saying he does not have some issues but I think he will be confirmed. Again, thanks for the info.

He will be confirmed 52-48. There will not be a single Democrat in support. We will be hearing a lot about the case of the Marion 3 in the coming weeks. I guarantee it.

Birth control makes women unattractive and crazy. - Breitbart headline

Even the women on Fox News laughed at this.

That article had nothing to do with Bannon being a white supremacist. It wasn't even about race. After reading it, I'm not even sure it was meant to be serious. BTW, it was written by a flamboyant gay guy who happens to be Jewish. Kinda throws another wrench in the Bannon's a racist meme.

As if that's the only nutty thing you find at Breitbart:

Bill Kristol: Republican Spoiler, Renegade Jew - headline to an article by David Horowitz in Breitbart. It was not explained what Kristol being Jewish had to do with anything that followed.
