Fact is labor market was already in the toilet under Biden and the economy most likely in a recession (all before tarriffs) under Biden and the whole mess was handed off to Trump

supposedly the revised number (-911,000) is correct...there were not massive job gains under Biden...I would guess if gov't spending were taken away from GDP under Biden we were most likely in a recession under Biden.

Let’s see if I’ve got this timeline right.

BLS posts bad numbers for the end of Biden’s admin and start of Trumps.

Trump fires BLS commissioner.

Latest BLS revisions show marked downward revisions for the entirety of Biden’s admin.

Trump water carriers say “see there were no jobs created under Biden’s admin” while continuing to ignore the current soft state of the employment market under Trump’s admin.

If I didn’t know better I’d guess Trump’s appointee is already doing work for him.
