The first news story I heard regarding Title 42 going away got into the existing requirements for asylum - if rejected, turned back without possibility of reapplication for 5 years kind of things. Pretty sure the thing about having to apply not where you want to go for asylum but the first "safe haven" also came up. It sounded a lot like under biden some rules were suspended or ignored while Title 42 was in place, but they realized that the only way to stop total chaos was to resume some of those rules ... at least until they aren't under the microscope. There's really not much chance that Mexican nationals could qualify for asylum or that people south of Mexico wouldn't be required to request asylum in Mexico if you are honest about what fear for one's life really means.

I'm pretty sure that back when obama was ruling, that the government was eyeing vets as dangerous ... probably why more diversion in the military is a dem goal ... wouldn't want our tax dollars training legions of potential white supremacists.

BTW the title of the referenced article is "Napolitano Apologizes, But Why?" Seems like the "But Why" removes any doubt about NPR's objectivity.

That Walgreens is on Fremont Street. I watch a few Vegas youtubers that livestream from there its always crazy. There has been many times that they've shown people walking right out with stuff from that Walgreens. One of them went in there one night, the shoplifting is so bad even stuff like canned soup and peanut butter is in a locked case.

Mmm...perhaps, but not if the polling indicated most Americans want a debt ceiling lift with cuts and more would blame Dems in a default, are accurate. That contradicts media already pushing the GOP=Default narrative.

Not so far.
McCarthy is doing much better than the 'serviceable' rating I gave him prior to speakership election, as is the House.
The GOP Senate is still the problem in the conservative congress group.
