17 week T-bills are over 5%. I'm buying a bunch in tomorrow's auction and I'll bet they will be up again. Nice place to park cash.If the 12 month CDs at the Regional bank you chose are paying 4.25%
And the 12 month CDs at JP Morgan Chase are paying 3.55%
What can we assume about the 4.25% CD compared to the 3.55% CD?
I’m kinda worried that he’s concerned about his own possible losses now. I hope not
Ok understood. Now it makes sense it wasn’t like you. I genuinely think you’re doing to be fine. Most if those bank stock drops just didn’t make a lot of sense. Look at the markets today the fear is starting to dissipate.Sorry to be such an ass.
Been a weird last few days. I walked from the best paying job that I ever had.
I am holding a LOT in a bank in which stock trading was halted yesterday.
I dont even want to discuss 2009 on here.
Oh BTW if you’re worried about some financial topic you should know by now this is the LAST place you should be hanging out looking for rational responsesSorry to be such an ass.

Nevertheless, you shouldn't be holding more than $250K in a bank. If you have more than that, you should look to move some.Ok understood. Now it makes sense it wasn’t like you. I don’t have this issue as I don’t live in that rarified air of having $250K+ laying around after tax in a commercial bank. We got a nice nest egg/reserves in after tax but it’s no where near bumping FDIC limits. All the big money we have is before tax IRAs. I’d guess that’s fairly common for us plebes, even if someone has a big chunk of after tax money to invest those are in bonds or equities in your brokerage account and that’s a whole different animal.Nevertheless, you shouldn't be holding more than $250K in a bank.
