Biden needs to be reminded that congress controls this kind of thing, and he was there for a long time when congress was plundering SS and probably Medicare taxes. He also needs to be reminded the "high earners" were the ones actually paying in what they plundered. He definitely needs to be reminded he was part of do nothing worthless congresses that failed to force (or perhaps allow) Medicare to negotiate drug prices. For any of you retired military, this congress is going after TriCare again; an insult after the government bailed out corrupt unions ... again.

Well this is mighty generous of our tax dollars. I’m guessing this is in addition to their automatic COLA they get every year.

President Joe Biden is expected to propose a 5.2% raise for federal employees in his fiscal year budget that begins Oct. 1, The Washington Post reported.

The pay raise for federal employees would be the largest proposed increase in more than 40 years, and it would go into effect in January, the Post reported Wednesday.

A 5.2 percent raise and continue not paying your student loans. Really kicking inflation in the nuts isn’t he.

I think they should get a much bigger raise, 20-30% in exchange for eliminating about 1/2 of the employees and converting their pensions to a 401k plan like most of the private sector employees.

Private industry isn't giving that much.

Do you think it's just student loan forbearance? They've backended the forgiveness program and cancelled the debt of a lot of people including people with doctorates and earning 6 figures. I'm hearing some had it all cancelled that owed $20k. They counted forbearance as payment.

Rueda, a transgender activist, has long pushed woke policies in Argentina, including the Transgender Labor Quota Act, which requires 1% of public sector jobs in the nation to be staffed by people who identify as transgender.
