How did Biden manage to screw up the border situation so bad???

He got elected, and screwed everything up. If nothing else look at Tennessee football, by the time fall rolls around we're going to be a 8 or 9 game winner according to fans. Compare that irrationality to illegals planning to cross the goal line simply because there's a new guy in town, and the bad guy got booted out ... so obviously the mood of the nation said come on over. Maybe not really or not literally, but irrationality always comes to town when dems are in office.

Where Biden's starring role came into play was all the executive orders undoing what Trump did, halting wall construction, and reversing several of Trump's policies limiting immigration and asylum. He couldn't have done much more if he'd put big "welcome" signs up at the border.

How did Biden manage to screw up the border situation so bad???

Hint: They did it on purpose.

Step 1. Create and/or fabricate crisis
Step 2. Get funding to fix crisis (along with other unrelated leftist projects)
Step 3. Throw $$$ at the crisis (along with lining their and their friends and familes pockets)
Step 4. Gain more power and control

Border, pandemic, guns, climate, racism, healthcare, infrastructure, elections, etc, etc.

It’s no coincidence they always have a solution in their back pocket ready to pull out.

'She's the last voice in the room who never fails to speak the truth:' Biden releases Bizarre Statement Defending Kamala Harris amid Criticism over her Failure to Visit the Border in three weeks

  • Comes after GOP Sen. John Cornyn asked: 'Is he really in charge?'
President Joe Biden released a sudden tweet on Monday defending Kamala Harris amid mounting criticism over her failure to visit the border and after GOP Senator John Cornyn questioned who was in charge in the White House.

'When I served as Vice President, I asked to be the last person with the President before big decisions were made — and @VP is providing the same counsel to me,' Biden wrote. 'She’s the last voice in the room and never fails to speak the truth as we work to build our nation back better.'

Car manufacturer's and others are tasting the hash they made of things. It shouldn't have taken genius to realize that when you shift production of critical components to places you don't control and over unreasonable distances that you've majorly screwed up logistically. Factor in just-in-time logistics, and this was a disaster waiting in the wings. There was another article regarding display drivers which seem the be the big issue for almost everything from cellphones to cars. The funny part is that as I read, they almost seemed to be describing stock market bubbles and crashes. The display driver manufacturers looked at covid, lack of demand from some manufacturing sectors (like the auto industry), and slowed production - didn't want an overstock. People sitting at home started buying gadgets to keep occupied and to help in working from home, so display driver demand went the other way, and when the auto market started to bubble there was no extra capacity to help catch up. Also because display driver technology is somewhat older nobody updated the wafer manufacturing process, there's no demand for new plants that employ the older manufacturing process, and the existing plants are pretty much running flat out.

The big three US auto companies had yearly battles with unions, but they and the nation never really addressed the problem that unions had, with government help, way overstepped their bounds. That "complicity" or lack of desire led to the overpricing of US labor that in turn led to globalization and the cheap labor available elsewhere. Bringing back industry isn't a trivial job like going into the old plants and turning the lights back on. Technology passed those plants, workers have to be trained again, and then there's power. Nobody is thinking much about power and what it's going to take to charge electric vehicles the country is espousing - much less what it would take to recommit to industry we absolutely need to remain a self sufficient world power - and you can't be a world power without self sufficiency.
